Nerikomi is a Japanese technique where one can create ceramics decorated with multiple patterns. It involves an easy hand building process where stacked slabs of clay are merged to create a swirling pattern to design creations.
We will make our own ceramic creations using this technique in the backyard of our premises! Come in for a one-day session and enjoy the lovely breeze of summer in the city in a creative mode.
This workshop addresses teens and adults.
For adults participating: Bring your own drinks as well or have one from the beers and wine we will offer.

A few words about the tutor:
Marianna Tserkezou was born in Nicosia Cyprus. She graduated from the University of Cyprus with a Degree in Primary teaching, followed by a Master’s degree in Information Education Technology in Birmingham, and an MBA degree in the Mediterranean Institute of Management. She started learning ceramics in 2015 in Cyprus with ceramist Vassos Demetriou and attended seminars and education programs in in Torino, Tuscany, and Faenza, Italy.
Marianna’s main focus in education in children and the means for transferring knowledge self-confidence beyond traditional mediums. Creativity aims to help in focus, patience, experimenting with solutions and trusting in the process of achieving.
