This workshop aims as a beginner’s guide to the fundamental techniques of Manga illustration. Participants will get to know the basic principles and specifics for drawing Manga characters and how to apply these in the successful creation of their own characters and illustrative stories.
Topics of the seminar includes:
•Introduction to figure drawing
•Introduction to perspective drawing for dynamic poses
•Understanding the basic principles of light and shadow
•Introduction and practice of the basic expressions and emotion in Manga characters
•Introduction to storytelling
•Understanding the importance of framing in storytelling
* This workshop is suitable for anyone who is preparing a portfolio for admission to Fine and Applied Arts Universities, for students of relevant disciplines seeking specialization and finally for amateur and professional designers and artists who want to enrich their skills.
