This workshop addresses the needs of beginners who want to learn more about the art of moving imagery. The participants will get acquainted with the fundamentals of animation and the way movement is analysed in order to successfully portray their ideas through animation exercises. The participants will learn about the workflow of an animation project and also introduce some key practices that experts use to achieve a quality level animation production.

• The importance of simplicity in figure drawing
• Use of flow and arcs
• What is pose to pose animation, what is straight ahead animation and where are they used?
