DESCRIPTION:The Nicosia Municipalityin collaboration with The Art Hub Visual Arts Laboratories are organizing an event that will “dress up” the surroundings of the Nicosia City Hall with works of public art by 25 street artists (graffiti artists)\, which were carried out as part of last year’s organization of the Municipality of Nicosia “Let’s go Garden” but also with new projects that will be carried out on site.\nAll the works will remain in the premises of the Nicosia City Hall\, decorating it until the completion of the works on Liberty Square. \nArt Hub Visual Arts Laboratories curates this celebration which marks the result of the collective work of emerging and established street artists.

DESCRIPTION:Η τελευταία Παρασκευή του Ιούλη για το The Art Hub στον Δημόσιο Κήπο βρίσκει παλιούς – νέους φίλους παρέα\, με όρεξη για ακόμη περισσότερη δημιουργία και επικοινωνία.\n\nΦωτογραφίες και απόψεις από την εβδομάδας Φωτογραφίας με τον Αντρέα Λουκαϊδη προβάλλονταί στον Κήπο\, παρέα με το καφέ Senado\, ενώ οι street artists καλούνται για ένα πρωτότυπο καλοκαιρινό session.\n\nΜια διαφορετική “μάχη” θα λάβει χώρα\, με ένα ξεχωριστό έπαθλο για τον καλλιτέχνη που θα κερδίσει αυτό το paint battle! Σπρέι θα παρέχονται στους καλλιτέχνες που συμμετέχουν στη μάχη\, όπως και άλλα βραβεία – εκπλήξεις. Ταυτόχρονα το graffiti jam συνεχίζει και αυτή την εβδομάδα\, δίνοντας την ευκαιρία στους καλλιτέχνες να δημιουργήσουν νέα έργα. DESCRIPTION:Το The Art Hub Visual Art Laboratories με τη στήριξη του Δήμου Λευκωσίας προσκαλεί street artists/ καλλιτέχνες δρόμου (graffiti) να δημιουργήσουν μοναδικά έργα κάτω από τον τίτλο “Γραμμές της Πόλης: Κάνε την τέχνη συνήθεια” την Παρασκευή 3/07 στον Δημόσιο Κήπο (έναντι παλιού νοσοκομείου).\n\nΣτα πλαίσια των “Εκδηλώσεων στον Κήπο” το Art Hub σε συνεργασία με τον street artist Pest επιμελείται αυτό το μοναδικό graffiti jam. Δεκατέσσερις θέσεις θα δοθούν ώστε να δημιουργηθεί ένα ενιαίο έργο κάτω από τον προτεινόμενο τοίχο σε διάστημα πέντε ωρών\, από τις 5 το απόγευμα μέχρι τις 10 το βράδυ. O Pest θα δημιουργήσει επί τόπου ένα δικό του έργο κάτω από τον συγκεκριμένο τίτλο ενώ ταυτόχρονα θα συνομιλεί με τους υπόλοιπους καλλιτέχνες.\n\nΑντλώντας έμπνευση από τις γραμμές της πόλης μας\, της Λευκωσίας\, το κάλεσμα αυτό επιδιώκει να τονίσει τους δεσμούς των καλλιτεχνών και όχι μόνο με τον δημόσιο χώρο\, με την έννοια τη γραμμής (αρχιτεκτονικής\, καλλιτεχνικής\, συνόρου κτλ) και την διαδικασία γραφής ή και διαγραφής της.\nΔεκατέσσερις έμπειροι καλλιτέχνες θα επιλεχθούν βάση παραδειγμάτων προηγούμενων τους έργων ή και προτάσεων για τη συγκεκριμένη θεματολογία. Ο κάθε καλλιτέχνης θα έχει στη διάθεση του επιφάνεια διάστασης 120 X 200 cm περίπου. Τα υλικά (σπρέι\, μπογιές) δεν θα παρέχονται.\n\nΤο τελικό έργο θα παραμείνει στον Δημόσιο Κήπο μέχρι το τέλος Ιουλίου και μετέπειτα παραχωρηθεί στον Δήμο Λευκωσίας που θα το εκθέσει σε δημόσιο χώρο.\n\nTαυτόχρονα στον χώρο θα υπάρχουν επιφάνειες διαθέσιμες ώστε όλοι όσοι επιθυμούν να δοκιμάσουν την τεχνική του graffiti. Η συγκεκριμένη επιφάνεια θα βρίσκεται παραμείνει στη διάθεση του κοινού τις τέσσερις πρώτες Παρασκευές του Ιούλη (συμπεριλαμβανομένης της 3ης Ιουλίου). Οι εισηγητές των εργαστηρίων του The Art Hub θα παρέχουν καθοδήγηση σε κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο. Ειδικές μπογιές για μικρά παιδιά θα προσκαλούν μικρούς επίδοξους ζωγράφους να δημιουργήσουν!\n\nΟι ενδιαφερόμενοι καλλιτέχνες μπορούν να στείλουν δείγμα δουλειάς τους στο email : thearthubvisualarts@gmail.com και σε μήνυμα στο inbox του Facebook μέχρι την Τετάρτη\, 1η Ιουλίου.
