The participants will get acquainted with the fundamentals of animation and the way movement is analysed in order to successfully portray their ideas through animation exercises. The participants will learn about the workflow of an animation project and also introduce some key practices that experts use to achieve a quality level animation production. \nThe topics of the seminars include:\n• The 12 principles of animation\n• Understanding the illusion of movement\n• Practical use of the fundamentals\n• The importance of simplicity in figure drawing\n• Use of flow and arcs\n• What is pose to pose animation\, what is straight ahead animation and where are they used?\n• Introduction to stop motion and creative film practices. \nThis workshop is suitable for anyone who is preparing a portfolio for admission to Animation / Game Design related university level studies\, as well as Fine and Applied Arts Universities\, for students of relevant disciplines seeking specialization and finally for amateur and professional designers and artists who want to enrich their skills. \nWorkshop duration: 15 hours \n** IMPORTANT: Limited places available – Early booking is NECESSARY.
